Job Description:

Applied Card Systems, one of the nation's leading credit card servicing providers, seeks a Collections/Recovery Agency Manager to lead and direct Recovery operations at its Glen Mills, PA corporate office. The Collections Agency Manager will be responsible for the performance management of external collection agencies and the day to day management of early out, legal, and/or charged-off accounts. Duties of this role include: Key Responsibilities: ·

Select and evaluate external collection agencies and evaluate the effectiveness of agency performance based on Company guidelines; present tactical recommendations to recovery strategies to Senior Management.· Manage agency relationships by: monitoring and validating agency performance metrics and coordinating agency placements; conduct site visits to ensure agency compliance with Company policies/procedures, and federal, state and local collections laws.· Review and approve invoices related to the payment of agency fees and transfer of payments received on sold accounts.

Job Requirements:

 

  Key Qualifications: · Bachelor’s Degree from a four year accredited college or university or commensurate experience. Minimum 2 years collection agency management or vendor management experience required.· Previous work experience in a credit card banking or closely related financial services organization. · Excellent written, verbal/phone communication and negotiation skills required· Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
